ZANZIBAR ISLAND
Welcome to the historical, exotic, heaven on Earth; the beautiful island of Zanzibar. Mainly Zanzibar comprises Unguja and Pemba but Unguja Island is mostly referred to as Zanzibar. Known for its historical slave market, the main court of the sultan of Oman, its Indian and European influences, where all of the mixed cultures have left their unique inheritance on the island.
Inland you’ll find the farms where spices, herbs and fruits are produced for centuries and touring through the area you’ll get surrounded by their unique exotic scents. The stunning white beaches around the island, where daily life feels like it hasn’t changed for centuries, are a well treat to either relax or enjoy activities offered like scuba diving, snorkling, fishing or a swim with the dolphins.
